Episode summary:

This episode of GEOY explores the life of Dr. Alice Wilson, a gifted and brilliant geologist that singlehandedly mapped a large portion of the Ottawa-St. Lawrence Lowland region. Geologists Noelle Lin and Mikaela Moore discuss Wilson’s life from a young age, through her experience working as the first female geologist at the Geological Society of Canada and her solo mapping due to the discrimination she faced as a woman.
