With the end of the year upon us, we are proud to announce the winners of the 2016 field photo contest hosted by TravelingGeologist. We had nearly 1500 photos submitted to the contest. These were judged by the TravelingGeologist editorial board and we’ve narrowed it down to the seven best photos. The second place winners will receive a Plateau Design field pouch and the first place winners will receive a rock hammer and a Gfeller leather hammer sheath.
